Aircraft ordnance → Ordnance –
Requesting move to ordnance, as that term is simpler and in common use. 70.247.162.84 (talk) 15:15, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- Strong oppose "ordnance" is not restricted to aircraft ordnance, your move request implies that aircraft ordnance is the only type of ordnance. Further ordnance exists as an article, and I see no point in deleting it for this article. -- 76.65.131.248 (talk) 20:11, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose for the reasons given above.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 20:35, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose - existing article, not the primary topic and the disambiguation needed for this particular usage of the term.GraemeLeggett (talk) 22:29, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose - They are not the same subject. - Ahunt (talk) 23:56, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose For the same reasons. I'm only piling on because I wonder if the user who made this suggestion really meant what they said. Do they want the sparse content of this article merged into Weapons, since Ordnance is a disambiguation page? --Lineagegeek (talk) 21:35, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose per all above. -- Necrothesp (talk) 21:00, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
- oppose Suggested name would imply non-aircraft ordnance too. Andy Dingley (talk) 23:09, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
