Well for one thing, it wasn't. It was "accidently Kelly Street", capitalization and spelling errors deliberate. --88.109.244.213 (talk) 22:39, 17 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Accidentally Kelly StreetAccidently Kelly Street – "Accidently Kelly Street", with the misspelling, is the correct title of the song. It is spelled that way by the band as well as music charts and articles discussing the song. "Accidentally Kelly Street" should be a redirect. Kmusser (talk) 20:25, 19 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

I support this move proposal, but have just added a 'notatypo' template to the first two uses of the word because this page keeps getting flagged up on User:Lupin/Live spellcheck whenever edits have been made. I'd like to assist other users of that tool not to make changes to this article by mistake - which is an easy thing to do when it appears to be such a glaring error.Parkywiki (talk) 21:05, 19 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Support - the misspelling is the correct name.Dan arndt (talk) 11:10, 20 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Advice – revert this RM and take it to WP:RM/TR where you can simply state why it needs to be fixed. Otherwise it will take a week to a month. Dicklyon (talk) 05:28, 20 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment - unrelated to this move (which I support), I note the lead paragraph of the article Frente! contains the sentence It was followed in October by "Accidentally Kelly Street" (initially misspellt as "Accidently Kelly Street") which reached No. 4. The first sentence of the "In popular culture" section also uses the word "Accidently", but "A/accidently" is used everywhere else. This inconsistency should be cleared up. • Support – O'Connor accidentally wrote Kelly Street instead of the correct address for a band-warming party that then-recently formed Frente! was due to hold. He later wrote the song as a humorous recollection of the event. Hart unintentionally transcribed its title as "accidently Kelly Street" (see ref [1]): they kept both errors.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 21:38, 23 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Not Played At Concerts edit

I saw them in 1996 in London and they refused to play Accidently Kelly St. Amgie said something like "We don't play that one any more". 81.153.179.124 (talk) 21:13, 21 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
