He his now believed to have been killed in the same attack that killed Khamis, with which he was traveling at the time. Jeancey (talk) 14:52, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

The source you used is older than the one 78.8 linked to and this (as well as others) which all suggest that the source you used in incorrect. I would tend to err on the side of caution and not say that he is dead until we have better evidence. SmartSE (talk) 16:05, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

The news source said a pro-Gaddafi radio station confirmed reports that he died in August. I doubt they would make it up. They denied for long that Khamis was killed then later confirmed it. It was logically a way to motivate pro-Gaddafi loyalists by saying he was alive.75.72.35.253 (talk) 20:47, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

The source being used at the moment, dated August 30th says "We have almost certain information that Khamis Gaddafi and Abdullah al-Senussi were killed on Saturday by a unit of the national liberation army during clashes in Tarhouna" but the Reuters story out this week says that "Arrai television announced Khamis's death, along with that of his cousin Mohammed Abdullah al-Senussi, son of Gaddafi's wanted intelligence chief Abdullah al-Senussi saying they were killed during a battle with National Transitional Council (NTC) forces in the city of Tarhouna" on August 29th. It looks as if Reuters made a mistake when they first wrote the article though: "(Clarifies identity of second casualty, fixes spelling of family name)" (but not the apostrophe crime!). Background

Who is this man? Apart from being head of internal security in the 80's - and even that is uncertain - nothing seems to be known about him. With his Senussi surname, could he be related to the king?203.184.41.226 (talk) 04:28, 6 September 2012 (UTC)

Foreign Mercenaries recruited by Senussi??

The article currently says he was blamed for recruiting foreign mercenaries, this needs to be mended to include the fact that no evidence whatsoever was found about African mercenaries fighting for Gaddafi, as reported by the Independent and in fact, as it's already written on the main article about the Libyan conflict. 95.63.163.229 (talk) 14:18, 6 January 2014 (UTC)Justiceforall
