Last aring? edit

Any news if this show will end the series?

Not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised especially since Butch Hartman is now involved in T.U.F.F. Puppy

  • According to this interview of Butch Hartman over at Toonzone, this is not the final episode of the Fairly OddParents. However, it should also be noted that FOP has not been picked up for anymore episodes, so if the series is cancelled then the live action movie will likely be the last episode anyway. His words are that the movie is supposed to be a "new beginning" for the series. --ElRifle (talk) 16:31, 27 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Starting tomorrow at 6pm, new episodes of FoP will be shown. Leading up to another hour special animated episode. I wish Butch would go back and rethink this live action crap. It was a bad attempt and I didn't even see AJ, Chester or Vicky (i watched it like three times). Anyway, the series apparently has three more hour long animated specials for the current season its in. --98.88.212.232 (talk) 23:00, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

The first airing of the movie included scenes with Vicky, Chester, and AJ. After that those scenes were edited out for reasons unknown, except possibly boosting DVD sales. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.246.225.197 (talk) 15:32, 13 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner! edit

"A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!" is a made by from Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies and it's starting with Drake Bell as Timmy Turner. It is on Nickelodeon (TV channel) (not in theatres) on July 9, 2011. --71.255.81.56 (talk) 12:44, 28 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Protection status of the page edit

Why is this page semi-protected when there are still errors?

  • The summary should read thirteen years into the future, not fourteen. Timmy is ten in the cartoon, and twenty three in the movie.
  • The airdate reads July 2011 yet there is no source for this besides Butch Hartman's twitter, which apparently "does not count" according to the user who requested protection for this page. So, why is there an airdate if there is no verifiable source? Why is Butch Hartman's twitter not a verifiable source in this occasion, despite that twitter account having posted storyboards for unreleased episodes, chatted with Daniella Monet's verified twitter account about the movie, and Butch himself links us to that account all the time on his official forum?

It's times like this that the editing should be left to people experienced in the material at question, not people who want to follow draconian site-wide rules to a T. --ElRifle (talk) 17:23, 12 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
