MPAA Rated R edit
I read that this film was initially Rated R by the MPAA and GLADD protested it.[1] It seems as if the film was later rated PG 13. If people can find more reliable sources discussing the matter it might be worth making an exception to WP:FILMRATINGS and mentioning it in this article. -- 109.76.195.59 (talk) 12:44, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
- That was a publicity stunt by The Weinstein Company. Any movie with more than one use of the F-word automatically gets an R, so TWC got the rating they expected and blew it out of proportion to manufacture publicity, as they did with Bully, which this article rightly points out. Unlike with Bully, TWC didn't succeed in the appeal and edited the F-words out to get a PG-13. Nardog (talk) 15:59, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
- Misbehavior from Harvey Weinstein, what a surprise! Even if it was just a publicity stunt it was covered by reliable sources, so it might be worth mentioning.
