Should we not be using a New Zealand flag for Moana Pasifika? They are organised by the NZ RFU & play in New Zealand. In what way are they technically different from the other sides? I'd also like to remove the flags from the table as I think they are unnecessary. Skeene88 (talk) 15:01, 23 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
Skeene88, The team does represent the Pacific Islands, and at the time of creation of the article it seemed as if the team would be based in the Pacific islands from 2023 onwards, but now the team has agreed to play in Auckland for the foreseeable future it may be best now listed under a NZ flag, especially as this isn't an official flag. In terms of the flags in the table, personally I feel they are necessary as not every reader is going to know where the teams are from without the flag, as they are not named on location. Skeene88 and Rugbyfan22, Moana Pasifika are listed in the points table and on the Super Rugby page (see Note B) with the NZ flag, because, as you guys said, they're based in Auckland for now. I think we should list them separately in the infobox but with the NZ flag until a Flag of the Pacific Community or Pacific Islanders flag becomes available to use. It looks a lot better when all the teams listed have a flag, and the only place the team doesn't is in the Infobox.TazMcPunty (talk) 01:44, 24 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
