Change format of tables edit

I changed the format of the tables slightly, so Group 1 in 2018 would look like the below if the same happened again...

Group 1 edit

Hope thats okay Jopal22 (talk) 00:39, 5 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

I guess thats a no then User:Johnsmith2116 :(
The reason I tried to change from last time was because I didn't find it immediately intuitive looking at last year and thought I could neaten it a bit Jopal22 (talk) 00:52, 25 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
This is the first time I am noticing this. I have been backed up on Wikipedia all year, and it turns out that someone else made this page. Usually I would have done it myself. But anyway, the format we already have is enough work as it is without having to learn a new system. Yours isn't bad but it is probably better that we stick with what we have used, to keep things from getting too complicated. Johnsmith2116 (talk) 02:58, 25 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
I'll bow to your preference, as you've been editing for ages and I'm the new kid on the block. Jopal22 (talk) 19:35, 25 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Halved vs Tied edit

The USGA changed the terminology for match play in 2019. No longer using "halved", matches are now "tied".[1] Thoughts? Tomrtn (talk) 20:33, 29 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Both the PGA Tour and European Tour use "Halved". https://www.pgatour.com/competition/2019/wgc-dell-technologies-match-play/leaderboard.html. http://www.europeantour.com/europeantour/season=2019/tournamentid=2019030/leaderboard/index.html#/day/2. Jopal22 (talk) 20:34, 29 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
This article from the PGA Tour [1] uses the new terminology. I'd say the use of the old terms on the scoring page is just slowness to change rather than rejection of change. pʰeːnuːmuː →‎ pʰiːnyːmyː → ‎ɸinimi → ‎fiɲimi 21:03, 29 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
