Correct Nomenclature edit
The name of the country in which the event is occurring is "Taiwan", "Taiwan, R.O.C.", or "the R.O.C." The name of the city in which the event is occurring is "Taipei". Taiwanese athletes may be competing under the labored International Olympic Committee designation "Chinese Taipei" but neither the host city nor the rest of the host country are altering their names for the benefit of that organization. Please do not use the IOC term when referring to the country or the city themselves, only when discussing the participation of Taiwanese athletes or teams under that flag of convenience; thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Abelaard Snazz (talk • contribs) 04:22, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
