Two attendance figures are mentioned on this page - one in the infobox and one in the match details. Which one is correct? Froztbyte (talk) 01:26, 28 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

The one in the details must have been a premature estimate, hence how rounded it was. I have updated the link and the figure '''tAD''' (talk) 00:22, 29 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Froztbyte: sorry to be a pain, but are you still working on this review? I know sometimes other priorities come up, and if you are busy with other things we could find a different reviewer? '''tAD''' (talk) 16:59, 10 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

You are welcome to find a different reviewer. Froztbyte (talk) 19:50, 10 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • @The Almightey Drill and Froztbyte: I will take over the review. Please allow up to seven days for my full review, although I will try to post part of it earlier, in order that any changes may be made sooner. C679 09:17, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Couple of things to start:
  • link “showboating”
  • his teammate Óscar de Marcos caused an own goal - unusual wording
  • there is one dead link reported (fn4) C679 09:06, 15 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • why is “Last 32”, “Last 16” capitalised
  • link away goals rule
  • “a late penalty, which Messi shot into Atlético goalkeeper Jan Oblak”
  • brace
  • “Barcelona had more chances after this, with Herrerín making saves from Neymar, who in the 36th minute scored the second goal of the game.” this appears to give more weight to the saves than the goal
  • Post-match mentions the booing of the anthem, but this happened in (before) the match itself, so why is it not mentioned there?
    • In most cases such an action by a crowd would be ephermeral. In this case it goes in the post-match because that was when both teams the RFEF were laden with fines. '''tAD''' (talk) 22:16, 21 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • various duplicate links, see there for a tool which assists in their identification. C679 10:07, 15 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sorry I haven't fixed this sooner, I have quite a long watchlist so it slipped me by, I will get to this now '''tAD''' (talk) 22:06, 21 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Cloudz679 I did all the suggestions. When you have time can you add some more? Thank you '''tAD''' (talk) 18:18, 28 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Just been checking for copyvios, there is an interesting page at [1] which is very similar, but I am sure this is a copy of an earlier version. There is a note at the bottom of that page: All the logos, contents, trademarks, images etc on this website are not our intellectual property. • There is some inconsistency regarding singular/plural verb forms after the team names. It is my understanding that common custom is to consistently use plural, Barcelona were and not was. Can you check it? C679 18:30, 28 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
    • I found one example. Are there any more, can you point out? '''tAD''' (talk) 20:08, 29 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
      • That's all. C679 21:14, 29 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Please fix the duplicate links, which are still outstanding. C679 18:35, 28 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Last 16, Last 32 still outstanding. Also I note the first yellow card is mentioned in the prose but not the rest. Was Neymar's somehow related to his showboating? Also what about "equalised the aggregate", that doesn't seem to make sense. C679 21:14, 29 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Cloudz679   Done and some minor editing to the match summary '''tAD''' (talk) 16:02, 9 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Reference check to come within the next 72 hours, apologies for the delay. C679 17:41, 9 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • @The Almightey Drill: Ok here are my final comments:
  • fn2 and fn26 seem to be the same reference
    • Removed
  • neither of fn1 and fn2 seem to support it being Barcelona’s 27th title
    • Removed
      • Still not referenced, and since that statistic don't appear in the body of the article, it shouldn't be in the lead. C679 18:43, 11 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • fn6 doesn’t seem to adequately support a number of statements, including
    • “Barcelona had previously played 36 Copa del Rey Finals, a record bettered only by Real Madrid with 39.[6]”,
    • “However, Barcelona had won the competition a record 26 times.[6]”,
    • “Athletic Bilbao had previously played in 35 finals, winning 23, with only Barcelona winning more.[6]”
      • There is a list of wins and final appearances at the bottom of the ref '''tAD''' (talk) 11:46, 11 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
      • Cloudz679 see here. There is a list of wins and finals appearances. Although it has been updated to 2016, the reader can easily count backwards with the information provided '''tAD''' (talk) 13:38, 23 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • “However, two days before the intended suspension, this action was deemed unlawful by a court, and the season continued.[10]” which court? add from the ref.
  • “Barcelona, also of La Liga, entered the tournament in the last 32 against a Segunda División B club, this time Huesca.” this time?

C679 09:45, 11 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Not all done. As I wrote in my last comment here "statistic[s that] don't appear in the body of the article ... shouldn't be in the lead". C679 23:57, 1 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Cloudz679 Yes it is, from ref4. As I have said, there is a list of wins and final appearances. Although it has been updated since, it is possible to count backwards very easily to 2015 '''tAD''' (talk) 07:21, 2 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
    • The information is in the lead but not in the body of the article. Not a referencing issue. Please address. C679 19:56, 4 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
      • "However, Barcelona had won the competition a record 26 times.[4]" I don't think we need to write again that winning makes that go up to 27. '''tAD''' (talk) 20:02, 4 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
