Names on ballot
editI removed a claim only Ron Paul and Mitt Romney would appear on ballot. Cited source was wrong per official website[[1]] and AP [[2]] — Preceding unsigned comment added by PantsB (talk • contribs) 22:19, 6 March 2012 (UTC)
Move
editMassachusetts Republican primary, 2012 was moved to Massachusetts Republican presidential primary, 2012 at 12:58, 9 April 2012. It sounds reasonable to me. But all the current articles on 2012 Republican presidential primaries in U.S. states are titled as just "XXX Republican primary, 2012". Should all the articles be moved to "XXX Republican presidential primary, 2012"? --Pengyanan (talk) 11:18, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
- I suggest "yes," except I don't know if other states use this primary for other races. I know that Ohio also had congressional primaries on that day. Massachusetts, however, does it separately. —GoldRingChip 11:50, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
- Frankly, I don't see a reason to have separate articles on the Democratic primary, Republican primary, and the general election in the state. I suggest, therefore, that all states' articles be merged:
- merge from: [[State Republican primary, year]] and [[State Democratic primary, year]] and [[United States presidential election in State, year]]
- merge to: [[United States presidential election in State, year]]. —GoldRingChip 11:50, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
