The result of the move request was: not moved. Participants argued that the current title is the WP:COMMONNAME and questioned the applicability of MOS:GNL to this particular case. (closed by non-admin page mover) ModernDayTrilobite (talkcontribs) 14:43, 4 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

2010 Northumbria Police manhunt2010 Northumbria Police search – Per MOS:GNL, I propose a move to 2010 Northumbria Police search, but appreciate that this move may be controversial so would appreciate editor input. GnocchiFan (talk) 20:49, 25 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose per WP:COMMONNAME. Also, they were hunting for a man, so we hardly need to use gender-neutral language. There's no problem using gendered language when we're referring to a specific person of a specified gender. And also again, I'm sure Northumbria Police carried out thousands of searches in 2010. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:11, 26 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. Necrothesp makes a good case to keep the title as is. Jenks24 (talk) 11:03, 4 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
