Why highlight the religion?
editAt every step in this article, it attempts to paint Muslim people in a bad light. I don't think it's necessary to list the religion of people to try to link it to the crime. As it stands, the article is religious vilification. For example, the story is already covered in the Greyhound_Lines#Notable_accidents.2Fincidents article, but the other version didn't need to mention religion at all, let alone remind the reader throughout. We're talking about a man who was psychotic, had a criminal history, and was probably a drug user. Religion had nothing to do with the crime. --Lester2 12:40, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
- Slavonski Brod is NOT an islamic stronghold, do some research before you write something like that, the city doesn't even have a mosque

- I am concerned by the style of writing of this article. Phrases like these are worrisome:
- "Damir Igric was a Muslim"...why is this relevant, let alone the first thing we say about him?
- "one month after the September 11 attacks"...it had nothing to do with 9/11 and does not need to be linked.
- "the city Slavonski Brod, Croatia, an Islamic stronghold"...this terrible line already deleted by the above editor 'Aeor'.
- "When ethnic tensions began to flare... he joined his Muslim brothers"...once again trying to link "ethnic tensions" to Muslims.
- "The 108th Brigade which was made up of Muslim and Croat soldiers...accused of murdering civilians"...again unnecessary religious slant.
- Again, look at the previous version of this incident (linked above) at the Greyhound article, to see how it was written without trying to add the word "Muslim" at every turn. I have tagged this article for violating NPOV. --Lester2 14:23, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

New title and reason
editI just renamed this article to the name of the event rather than the attacker per WP:ONEEVENT, which states Cover the event, not the person.Hellno2 (talk) 18:04, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
Dead link
editDuring several automated bot runs the following external link was found to be unavailable. Please check if the link is in fact down and fix or remove it in that case!
