Help
editHi Institutions Directly Under the Central Committee.
@春卷柯南, Zanhe, and Colipon: I've been editing this article for the last couple of days. I've tried to simplify the tables by merging columns, hiding offices and making new columns. I feel like it's an improvement, but if you disagree, please say so.
I've contacted you three because, from the page statistics, you've edited this article a bit (and that you are Chinese—at least that's what I've interpreted). I need help with the following things;
- I can't find any information on the term "Institutions Directly Under the Central Committee." in English. The closest things is "Organs Directly Under the Central Committee". Is "Organs..." the correct term?
- We are missing to birth years; for Hang Yihong and Cui Yuzhong. Are there birth years impossible to find on Chinese as well?
- Is there a source anywhere on the net that defines what institution is "Institutions Directly Under the Central Committee" and which institutions are defined as "department-level institutions"?
- And the biggest reason I'm here. I would love to sort the "Hanzi" table in the "Alternates" section by order of strokes. My question is as follows; is the table currently sorted by the number of strokes? If not, would one of you bother to sort the names below by order of stroke?
If you users can help me answering any one of these queries I'll be thrilled! :) --Ruling party (talk) 19:34, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
- 嘉傑 Since you are Chinese, would you be interested in helping me solve the questions above? The users I pinged above are all inactive :/
- If so I would really appreciate it :) Ruling party (talk) 21:06, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
- "Institutions Directly Under the Central Committee", formal name "Departments directly under the Central Committee" (Chinese: 中共中央直属机构). This is an article on Chinese Wikipedia: "中共中央直属机构", that you can read it using google translate.
- Hang Yihong (Chinese: 杭义洪), current Party Committee Secretary of the China Academy of Engineering Physics, no more further information. Cui Yuzhong (Chinese: 崔玉忠), current Commander of the South Sea Fleet Naval Air Force and Deputy Commander of the South Sea Fleet, no more further information.
- Department-level CCP institutions (Chinese: 正部级单位): General Office, Organization Department, Publicity Department, United Front Work Department, International Liaison Department, Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, and other offices of "中共中央办事机构".
- Alternate members (Chinese: 中央后补委员) unlike full members. Alternates are listed according to the number of votes in favor received, not according to the number of strokes of Chinese characters.
- 嘉傑 Thanks! I know the part about alternate members. If you look at the 19th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party#Alternates table you'll see all the columns are sorted incorrectly with the exception of the Hanzi column. That is something we should fix, don't you think? It will make it easier for Chinese to navigate through our lists as well. --Ruling party (talk) 09:02, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
