Somewhere I think I saw mention that this well-known summit was a reference to her, but I have no immediate citation on that. Also noting that Mae West's character Diamond Lll is said to have been modelled on her; isn't there also a film by the name Klondike Kate? - yup see this IMDB listing. Also that theatre in BC mentioned may have been the Savoy, in the 100 blk W Cordova, which was one of the very first, though there are a couple of other possibilites; I'll source someone who might know, or know how to find out.....could be her proper name is in the city registry/directory in the city archives, we'll see....Skookum1 (talk) 21:53, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Kathleen's Age.
editKathleen Rockwell (Klondike Kate) appeared on You Bet Your Life on December 23rd, 1954. (#54-15) When asked by Groucho Marx how old she was, she replied 74 years old which would have made her birth year 1880. According to her Wikipedia page her birth year is disputed.
