Red Rooms (French: Les chambres rouges) is a 2023 Canadian psychological thriller film, written and directed by Pascal Plante.[1] The film stars Juliette Gariépy as Kelly-Anne, a woman who is fascinated with the criminal trial of serial killer Ludovic Chevalier (Maxwell McCabe-Lokos), and is driven into the dark web world of cybercrime as she becomes obsessed with trying to find the missing video of the death of a 13-year-old girl which would definitively prove Ludovic's guilt or innocence.[2]

The film also stars Laurie Babin as Clémentine, a fellow groupie that Kelly-Anne initially bonds with, as well as Charlotte Aubin, Guy Thauvette, Frédérick De Grandpré, Pierre Chagnon, Elisabeth Locas, Natalie Tannous, Sébastien Beaulac, Rebecca Makonnen, Maxim Martin, Richard Turcotte, Stanley Hilaire and Marie-Gabrielle Ménard in supporting roles.

The film's production was first announced in November 2022.[3]

The film premiered at the 57th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival on July 4, 2023,[4] and had its Canadian premiere as the opening film of the 2023 Fantasia Film Festival.[5] It opened commercially on August 11.
