  • Sep13: Rafael Nadal defeated Novak Djokovic in the final of the 2010 US Open by a score of 6–4, 5–7, 6–4, 6–2 to claim his first US Open title and ninth grand slam title for his career, which the win gave his a career grand slam being only the seventh player to do so in men's singles.
  • Sep11: Kim Clijsters defeated Vera Zvonareva in the final of the 2010 US Open by a score of 6–2, 6–1 to claim her third US Open and grand slam title for her career.
