This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

- Comment: See WP:NTOUR. Announcements are not sufficient to demonstrate notability. This is likely WP:TOOSOON. S0091 (talk) 14:13, 28 July 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Fails WP:GNG, requires significant coverage in multiple independent secondary sources. The band's website is a primary source. Dan arndt (talk) 02:26, 28 July 2023 (UTC)

The Long Goodbye Tour[1] is the upcoming final tour by American rock band the Eagles. The tour is set to begin on 7 September 2023, in New York City, at the Madison Square Garden.
Background
editOn 6 July, 2023, the Eagles announced that the band would be going on their farewell tour after a 52-year career. The first concert is set to take place in New York City on 7 September, 2023. Steely Dan will join the tour as a special guest. Deacon Frey, son of late band co-founder Glenn Frey will be rejoining the band after leaving the group in April 2022. “We know how fortunate we are, and we are truly grateful. Our long run has lasted far longer than any of us ever dreamed. But, everything has its time, and the time has come for us to close the circle.” the band said in a statement.[2][3]
