- Comment: Far WP:TOOSOON for its own article. Would recommend allocating efforts to Super Bowl LX or Super Bowl LXI in the meantime. Utopes (talk / cont) 05:27, 24 February 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: See also Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Super Bowl LX. With the NFL now selecting the host venue unilaterally without a formal bidding process, past consensus has been to not publish Super Bowl articles until the league makes the official announcement. Super Bowl LXII is the planned American football championship game of the National Football League (NFL) for the 2027 season. The game is scheduled to be played on February 13, 2028 at a site to be determined. The game will be televised nationally by CBS.[1]
Background
editHost selection
editThe league has made all decisions regarding hosting sites since Super Bowl LVII (held in February 2023). There is no bidding process per site: the league selects a potential venue unilaterally, the chosen team puts together a hosting proposal, and then the league votes to determine whether it is acceptable.[2]
