Rick Nelson Sings For You is a compilation album by rock and roll and pop idol Rick Nelson that was released in January 1964 by Imperial Records. after Nelson had left Imperial and joined Decca, This fourth album to compile the singer's material features 12 songs that features on Nelson's previous Imperial Albums, incuding "Lucky Star", "Today's Teardrops", "One of These Mornings", "Thank You Darling", "Don't Leave Me"

Billboard stated that from his vault material in "Today's Teardrops", there are a lot of good effots here."[2]

Cashbox called it "power-packed rockin’ and stated that "rich, baritone voice and' professional phrasing is showcased effectively on “Today’s Teardrops,” “Lucky Star” and “I’m All Through With You".[3]
