Draft:List of WWE SmackDown episodes

This is a list of episodes for the professional wrestling television series called WWE SmackDown. WWE SmackDown and WWE Friday Night SmackDown is an American professional wrestling television program that is produced by WWE. The World Wrestling Federation name would last until May 5, 2002. They would be sued by and lose a lawsuit against the World Wildlife Fund over the official WWF trademark. After losing that lawsuit, they would change to a new name called World Wrestling Entertainment. The company would introduce the official new name and new logo starting on May 6, 2002.[1] That name would last for the next 9 years before it was changed one final time to just the initials of the WWE only and it would officially begin on April 7, 2011.[2] The series has had various names throughout the shows history. Those names were WWF SmackDown, WWE SmackDown, WWE Friday Night SmackDown and WWE SmackDown Live.[3] [4] [5]
