Kay Georgiou Solicitors is a Central London based firm of solicitors specialising in legal representation during divorce for high-net-worth individuals and their spouses. The sole solicitor of the firm is Kay Georgiou who is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales ID No.79818 for 37 years and who is regulated by the Solicitor´s Regulatory Authority.[1] Key Georgiou is also a member of Resolution, which is the trading name of Solicitors Family Law Association [2]

Notable Cases

A notable case in which the judgement was published by the Lexis Nexis legal service FamilyLaw.co.uk DS v HR [2019] [3] The issue of the case was whether to grant a Hadkinson order barring the husband proceeding with an appeal in Family Law act proceedings due to default in child maintenance payments. The judge noted that the Hadkinson order was a suitable remedy in the case, even though it may seem disproportionate. The Hadkinson order was granted by the judge preventing the husband making an appeal to the Family Division of the High Court. [4][5]
