Jahangir Gaon is a village in the 2nd ward of Bangla Bazar Union in the south-eastern part of Dowarabazar Upazila in the Sunamganj District of Bangladesh's Sylhet Division.[1]

editAccording to the 2011 Bangladesh census, Jahangir Goan had 100 households and a population of 550. The literacy rate (age 7 and over) was 38.8%, compared to the national average of 35.8%.[2][3]
