Club América (women)

Club América Femenil is a Mexican women's football club based in Mexico City. The club has been the female section of Club América since 2017.[1] The team plays in the Liga MX Femenil, which was scheduled to begin in September 2017.[2]

On 1 November 2019, former team captain Diana González died due to hypoglycemia.[3] This was the first death of a player who had featured in the Liga MX Femenil (any team).
