It has come to my attention that according to the regulations under Wikipedia, there is a discrepancy amongst the artciles listed within this category. According to some editors (myself included) we believe it is incorrect to list an article as Steampunk such as Bride of Frankenstein or American McGee's Alice when in fact they have never stated or it was never implied that such works ofcition were using the genre of Steampunk. Therefore I believe according to the discussion related in Literary punk genre Talk page that there should be an overhaul of all the listed articles here in consideration to the criteria and vierfication within the limitations of the Steampunk genre. An anon added text to the category page trying to add the currently nonexistent article on Queen Victoria's Bomb by Ronald W. Clark. I reverted; when the article is created, if the novel is indeed steampunk, it can be added to the category properly (see Help:Category if you're new to Wikipedia). --Kineticman 07:59, 18 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
