Title change edit
Why is this the only one among all the categories dealing with school massacres where the name of the cat was changed? Badagnani 09:34, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Categorisation edit
Another editor reverted my removal of Category:School killings in the United States from the Category:Virginia Tech massacre, and I would contest his/her assertion that the cat is not redundant. I suppose it could come down to a definition of "school". The category Category:Virginia Tech massacre is already part of Category:University shootings.
By my definition, a "University", although a seat of learning, is not a "school", thus it can only be included in one and not the other. However, if a Uni IS considered a school, then the Category:University shootings should belong in the Category:School killings in the United States, and there would still be no need for the category to further appear in Category:Virginia Tech massacre or Virginia Tech massacre. sorting Template needed edit
This list is nearly useless without dates. An alternate sorting, by date, would be so much better. Alphabetic sorting also nearly useless.Sadsaque (talk) 19:15, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
