Structure of organisation edit

HI. These lists of loan words are organised in two different ways, sometimes FROM language A to language B; sometimes from language B to language A. The same applies to the page on Portuguese language lists Category talk:Portuguese language lists Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 20:32, 20 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • Agreed. Do you suggest that the category should be divided? e.g. (i) Lists of loanwords by origin and (ii) Lists of loanwords by, er, what would be a clear category name for the 'destination' language? - Fayenatic (talk) 08:12, 21 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
    • That would work. Loanwards by (i) origin as you said, or by source language and (ii) by target language or adoptive language or receiving language? Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 16:15, 23 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
      • It took a while to come back to this, but that's done now! – Fayenatic London 18:43, 15 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
