Encyclopedic language

Article titles like Deux-Sèvres' 2nd constituency and Drôme's 1st constituency sound very un-English to me (or, at best, they come across as hack-journalese: like "London's Mayor" for "the Mayor of London"). Why not the 2nd constituency of Deux-Sèvres, the 1st constituency of Drôme, and so on? These sound not only more encyclopedic in style but also, in my view, considerably less weird. -- Picapica (talk) 13:35, 20 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
