Please do not link articles about specific foods or beverages into this category;
they should go under category:foods or category:beverages, respectively (or preferably, in one of their subcategories). category:Food ingredients is for things which are not eaten on their own -- "raw materials" for cooking, and additives such as flavorings and preservatives.
I suggest that articles linked directly to category:food and drink should be focused more on cultural aspects of eating or food preparation.

I think it might be useful to include in the table of information of each article that may refer to a food, dietary information. e.g. I was looking for vitamins included in a single lemon. --fs 13:57, 11 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
