Yes, but it is not necessary, and many would say not advisable. Now if your page began to look like a social networking page that could be another issue, but for the most part your user page is loosely regulated. My76Strat (talk) 06:03, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

Re: Message

I'm sorry if this isn't the correct way to contact you, but the edit to BeBe Zahara Benet was correct. Bebe Zahara Benet is the character of Nea Marshall Kudi, and obviously his character didn't move to be closer to family. I'd be glad to contact Nea Marshall Kudi himself to confirm this, I just don't want to have to get in some sort of trouble for going back and fixing it again. Status

I noticed you have a status template on top of your user page. This is good; it helps editors know when you're online and offline. However, I must add that this template won't work unless you create a subpage for it(for you, something along the lines of User:Polymathsj/Status). Regarding your ANI report

The username policy says that email addresses are not allowed, but according to Alison on his talk page, he created this name before the policy went into effect, and we shouldn't retroactively enforce it on him. Whether the last part is or is not for or against policy is not something I know of. In principle, I'd say we can't retroactively enforce rules on him. Otherwise, I'm agnostic on the matter. • Rms has been around for five years and has 30,000+ edits, which is enough to tell you it's not a problem. As it happens, his username predates both the policy change and the technical change that prevents @ being used in a new username. As it's not a promotional username, it's no big deal. Regarding that report, when starting a discussion involving another editor at AN/I, it is polite and, in fact, required for you to notify them on their talkpage. Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. I presume you are referring to Qui, the script you tried to import just before posting that help message? If that is the case there are two options:

• Use importScript('User:TheDJ/qui.js'); instead - this will give you a default configuration QUI script.
• The second related a bit more to the source of the problem. The page you tried to import simply does not exist on this Wiki. If you are normally active on another Wiki you could navigate to the page you tried to import, and copy it to a personal .js subpage, and then adapt the import code to import from that location instead. Of course you can also place it in vector directly, but that is a tad messy if you have multiple scripts. :)

Doesn't really matter - you can select any subpage you wish, as long as it has the .js extension. For example, if you copied the code to "User:Hazard-SJ/Scripts/Scripts.js", you would use importScript('User:Hazard-SJ/Scripts/Scripts.js'); to import it. If you decided to use "User:Hazard-SJ/tralalalaaaaaaa.js" you could simply change the import line to importScript('User:Hazard-SJ/tralalalaaaaaaa.js'); All the import line does is import content from another location - where that location is, is not important (Provided it is on the same Wiki of course!)
