Reverting my edit to Historical Jesus

I do not understand why you consider my edit controversial. Douglas Eivind Hall (talk) 15:51, 20 May 2012 (UTC)

I'll review my actions and reply shortly. My76Strat (talk) 15:54, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
I did review the edit and recognize that your contributions appear to be appended in good faith. I apologize if I characterized the edit as vandalism which is not indicated. The reason I reverted frankly was my initial impression that the disorder was attributed to Jesus. Upon my re-read, it seems as likely that you are attributing the disorder to Pilate. Although I would be more inclined to accept the latter, it does fall within the category of content that requires a source for verification. And a telling sign that an edit may be problematic is flagged by including the content against an existing reference which could be an attempt to mask it as sourced. While it is not an impossible stretch that the new fact is also contained in the existing reference, it is not the first assumption. The edit summary is the manner to extenuate these potential. Your edit was also devoid an edit summary so it was my decision to err on the side of caution. If you reinstate the content, I'll not revert it again. That does not preclude that another may and the best way to bolster your inclusions involves considering the things I've pointed out. Good luck to you and thank you for demonstrating an interest in improving this encyclopedia. My76Strat (talk) 16:26, 20 May 2012 (UTC)

NNU wrap-up time is May 30

Hello. There are still some articles at Wikipedia:School and university projects/NNU Class Project/Winter 2012/Student list that need moving to the mainspace. Some have rubbish references and could be AfDd, so best not move those. But many just need a bit of cleanup and a move. If you have time to do a few, we would be much obliged. Best, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 12:46, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thank you for your kind comments! I think we produced a system could work within this semester, with the indispensable assistance of Anna, wctaiwan, Graeme Bartlett, l.tak and others. I hope it's been useful to the students, and to growing Wikipedia's coverage of Chinese subjects. Overall, it's been a very positive experience for us here at NNU! All thanks belong to you and my esteemed colleagues whom you have mentioned above. The students are no small measure as well, and you should tell them; also; for me. As an aside, Is it too late to ask your group for assistance from your end? My76Strat (talk) 02:49, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
No, it's not too late, though the semester is nearing its end and students are exam-beset. What were you looking for help with? An appeal on our Help page might produce help with a specific problem.

Thank you for that response. Ironically, an article that I closely monitor has Nanjing related content and I just realized that your group was well situated to possibly assist. Chemical weapon#China states "Japan stored chemical weapons on the territory of mainland China between 1937 and 1945. The weapons mostly contained a mustard gas-lewisite mixture.[1] The weapons are classified as abandoned chemical weapons under the CWC and Japan has started their destruction in September 2010 in Nanjing using mobile destruction facilities." I was curious if this is well known in your region, whether or not anything has been published in your locality, and if not classified whether or not any images could be acquired. Any of your students who might be interested are welcome to directly edit the Chemical weapon article or post information to my talk page. An image would be particularly beneficial, if available. Thanks in advance. My76Strat (talk) 12:05, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
