Wilshire/Normandie station

Wilshire/Normandie is a heavy-rail subway station in the Los Angeles County Metro Rail system. It is located at Wilshire Boulevard and Normandie Avenue, in Los Angeles' Mid-Wilshire/Koreatown District. This station is served by the Purple Line.[1]

Wilshire/Normandie is one of only two heavy rail subway stations in the system not served by the Red Line. In late 2019, a then unknown European-born woman with the name Emily Zamourka was captured on videophone singing opera by local police at the station, of which video went viral due to the perceived talent of her.
