Background
editWillie Revillame is a beloved noontime variety show host in the Philippines, who previously served as the main presenter for Wowowin which aired in GMA Network and All TV. On June 14, 2024, Revillame announced that his new program Wil To Win will be aired on TV5, 11 years after he previously hosted the variety shows Willing Willie, Wil Time Bigtime, and Wowowillie in the Kapatid network from October 2010 to October 2013.[2]
Wil To Win is a television production under MediaQuest Ventures, a firm which Revillame partnered with in April 2024. By around the same month, the social media platforms for Wowowin has been repurposed for the upcoming show.[3] Wil To Win will be having a grand launch airing on July 14, 2024, before premiering on July 15 on its regular programming on Mondays to Fridays at 17:00 (PST), right after the Korean drama Catch the Ghost.[4]
An interactive telethon called "Grand WINference" was set to broadcast on June 20, 2024, but this was postponed.[5][6]
