Page edits vs previews
editI removed "only 1 in 6 edit requests result in a database modification (perhaps due to previews or other factors)" since it is incorrect. It turns out that pressing "Show preview" and "Show changes" results in the URL parameter "action=submit". Due to this, it isn't possible to conclude that "action=submit" results in a database modification. -SCEhardT 20:53, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Does the full dump work yet?
editI should probably be asking this over at WP:VPT, but there was some database corruption and/or MySQL bugs which had prevented a full database dump for years. Is that resolved now? 69.228.213.30 (talk) 01:12, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
