Xbox 360 edit

Very good article, very important to game-console history. Nicknamed the "Best Video-game Console ever made" by many video-game fanatics[1]. So my question is, why is it it High importance and not Top Importance? And why is Wii, Top Importance? Xbox 360 will always be more important than the Wii, any-day. So why isn't it Top Importance, while the Wii (and some other Nintendo products) are? I am requesting an upgrade to it's importance to High Importance. Not entirely certain we're getting an NPOV here. In any case, Top-class articles have a lasting impact on video games. The systems that have attained this are Atari 2600, NES, SNES, Wii, Game Boy, Nintendo DS, Playstation, and Playstation 2. All of these have been crucial toward bringing video games to where they are now for a variety of reasons. Wii, for instance, popularized motion controls and greatly enlarged the gaming demographic, even if only for Wii Sports. 360, while it might be a fantastic system, had not had such an effect, as far as I am aware. What do you mean by impact/effect? TrebleSeven (talk) 16:06, 13 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
As in, nearly every system that has come after it has been in some way influenced or otherwise owes its existence to the system in question. (For instance, the NES brought gaming out of the 1983 crash, the Game Boy solidified the success of handheld systems, et cetera. I don't honestly support any console being Top-class, though, but eh. If you plan to discuss this further, move the whole conversation to WT:VG. It's getting a bit weighty for this list-esque page. Emmy Altava 07:59, 15 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
This reasoning is NPOV and more important, unsound. I am therefore opposing the relevance of this request, as it does not offer any specific clarification aside from the user's opinion. DarthBotto talkcont 21:01, 21 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
I'm also against a change. While it might be popular, the 360 hasn't pioneered anything above and beyond. As a main console in its generation, its importance is rightly "high", but outside of this generation it'll simply be replaced and overshadowed by its successor without effecting any lasting changes to the industry. I suggest you guys should first actually read the quality scale, and only then start doing ANYTHING here edit

It would be cool if you guys also said WHY this and that class edit

Otherwise it just looks random, and is not very helpful. --Niemti (talk) 02:18, 8 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Really, leave some comments on the talk pages. Otherwise anyone can do it randomly. --Niemti (talk) 02:24, 8 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

I've replied to your concerns on my talk page, after your post. :) Salvidrim! 02:36, 8 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
Niemti, it would also be nice if you assessed a few articles. Nominating 20+ for assessment and not doing any in return doesn't exactly motivate people to give you a well written assessment. --Teancum (talk) 16:41, 18 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

How can we assess an article that doesn't exist? Take it to AfC. Darrman (talk) 12:20, 28 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Where do the reviews go? edit

If you are to review one of the pages being asked for reassessment, where does the comment go? On a new page, or underneath the listing? -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 06:24, 8 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Under "Completed assignments". It follows the format of the lines moved to the archive (e.g., # [[game]] C → B ~~~~, etc.) and remove the original listing from the top section. There are also some commented out suggestions when you edit the wikitext source. czar · · 17:06, 8 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
