Table column - Official Pic? edit

For this column, do you mean "is the official U.S. Govt. photo being display on Wikipedia?" Or do you mean "is the displayed photo in the public domain? (free, copyleft, GNU)"--Appraiser 18:34, 17 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Ideally, we should be able to upload and use their official Congress bio photo, since that's what the article will primarily be in reference to. However, in constructing that table, my intent was to first ensure that all photos were in the public domain via some source (for example, one of the photos is a work of the U.S. Navy, another of the Dept. of Commerce). The sooner we can get rid of any copyrighted photos, by whatever means necessary, the better. -- PSUMark2006 talk | contribs 22:18, 17 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Table column - Most Recent Official Pic? edit

Would this be the most current official photo? I updated the table with a more recent image for Gabrielle Giffords. - Trilotat (talk) 15:56, 23 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
