Segregation edit

Let me leave the next message, please.

An anonymous user decided to create serious change on the Top Model template, which I do not believe conforms to how templates actually work. He/She decided to segregate current national and multinational franchises from the former and did not care to explain. The previous lay-out that separates all franchises listed right now into national and multinational franchises alone would be a lot better. The footnote on italics is on point. It wasn't broken, and such fix is useless. There is too much information to digest.

I am reverting back this template to its former lay-out with all the information from that recent change, trusting that the veracity for them have been checked. If you think my move was a mistake as well or you just feel strongly against it, feel free to reply so we can collaborate.

@Linguist111: What do you think? — Preceding unsigned comment added by K CMS (talkcontribs) 13:26, 7 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

@K CMS: Hi, thanks for bringing this to our attention. It appears that the IP who made the changes is a sockpuppet of a blocked user, used to evade the block. As per WP:EVASION, this reversion is acceptable. I personally agree that the template looks better in its original format, for the same reasons given by you. It is readable, concise and not too overly detailed. Linguisttalk|contribs 14:22, 7 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

A new newsletter directory is out! edit

A new Newsletter directory has been created to replace the old, out-of-date one. If your WikiProject and its taskforces have newsletters (even inactive ones), or if you know of a missing newsletter (including from sister projects like WikiSpecies), please include it in the directory! The template can be a bit tricky, so if you need help, just post the newsletter on the template's talk page and someone will add it for you.

Request for information on WP1.0 web tool edit

Hello and greetings from the maintainers of the WP 1.0 Bot! As you may or may not know, we are currently involved in an overhaul of the bot, in order to make it more modern and maintainable. As part of this process, we will be rewriting the web tool that is part of the project. You might have noticed this tool if you click through the links on the project assessment summary tables.

We'd like to collect information on how the current tool is used by....you! How do you yourself and the other maintainers of your project use the web tool? Which of its features do you need? How frequently do you use these features? And what features is the tool missing that would be useful to you? We have collected all of these questions at this Google form where you can leave your response. Walkerma (talk) 04:25, 27 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
