Wikipedia talk:Usernames for administrator attention/End of CHU/Soft block templates

I think these would look better with a few line breaks - perhaps before "You are invited/welcome to create a new account ..." and maybe another one later on, for those with more text. It might make the templates taller, but it makes the text a lot clearer to read, and (dare I say it) more inviting than just a wall of text. — This, that and the other (talk) 07:31, 10 May 2013 (UTC)

Definitely possible. I wonder how others feel about this issue--I do not personally feel that the texts are too long, but I may have a wider monitor or something like that. Also, are you sure the change from 'its' to 'the' is necessary? [1] The reference in that sentence is the account (an inanimate object), not the user ("This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because its (the account's) username..."). Yes, but an account = a person, and we are talking to the account-owner here. Using "it" makes the message very impersonal, and almost impolite. I would even prefer something like "this account has been blocked because your username/the username you chose ...", but that might be taking it a bit far. — This, that and the other (talk) 10:22, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
