Would you like to help to ensure that Wikipedia has great articles about LGBT+ history, is illustrated with photographs of LGBT related events, people and places, is up to date on LGBT rights and current events and really is neutral and accurate on articles about sexual orientation? When the world searches the internet for LGBT information, Wikipedia is always the top match, so come along and find out how we can keep Wikipedia neutral and improve it.

We can provide help in starting editing if you have never tried (though we recommend setting up a Wikipedia account in advance). If you have a collection you would like to bring along to be digitized, such as photographs or video of LGBT related events, please drop a note to Fæ or click here to send an email so that we can aim to have the right facilities available.

Please bring your own laptop, there will be free wifi in the library. You do not need to be a "Wikipedian" but please have a go at setting up your account and try some simple edits before coming along.

The Bishopsgate Library is keen to collect more material for the LGBT+ archives, so this could be the chance you have been waiting for to donate Pride march photographs from the 1980s through to original meeting minutes from a gay society.

The Library is part of the Bishopsgate Institute, which is literally just around the corner from Liverpool Street Station.
