Hello - I was wondering if you could expand on what further sources are required for this draft which would count as "reliable"? Vulture, i-D, and The Spinoff are mainstream media publications with large readerships, RNZ is the website of New Zealand's national radio broadcaster, and the series also won an award at a major film festival (as well as one at a smaller one). Essentially I'm wondering if the issue is quality of sources (enough citations, but not sources considered reliable) or quantity (existing citations are acceptable, but more of the same kind are required). Thank you. Hercelin (talk) 11:13, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Hercelin This is more about "notability" (Wikipedia's way of determining whether something "deserves" an article) than reliability. For Psusy to have a Wikipedia article, there must be at least two sources that are all four of the following: (1) in-depth about Psusy, (2) reliable, (3) secondary, and (4) independent.
Take [1] for example. This is in-depth about Psusy. But it's an interview, so it's not independent or secondary (but rather a primary source). That doesn't mean you can't use it at all, but it doesn't count towards the two sources needed to confer notability.
Now look at [2]. It's not in-depth about Psusy. Again, this doesn't mean it can't be used, but it doesn't count towards the two sources needed for "notability".
I hope this helps, and please feel free to reach out here if you have any questions. — Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 20:27, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello I was wondering in detail on what basis my page keeps getting declined please Abimccabe (talk) 14:54, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Quite simply, you are not yet notable in Wikipedia terms. Theroadislong (talk) 14:56, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please post my article Abimccabe (talk) 16:45, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The draft was rejected, meaning that it will not be considered further. Wikipedia is not a place for people to tell the world about themselves. Please read the autobiography policy. 331dot (talk) 17:23, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

What problem Md rehab (talk) 18:49, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Md rehab the problem is the subject is not notable and the drafts only serves to the promote them (see WP:NOTPROMO). Various iterations of draft have been deleted at least twice now and the most recent will be likely deleted again. I advise you (or anyone) to stop creating/submitting drafts about this this person as they will likely never meet the notability criteria and continuing to submit drafts is now reaching disruptive behaviour so may result in you (or anyone else submitting a draft about them) being blocked. It's time to move on. A Wikipedia article is not going to happen. S0091 (talk) 19:28, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oh and stop socking. It's not good for your health. S0091 (talk) 20:05, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

19:40, 4 July 2023 review of submission by NatwonTSG2

edit

Having not had significant coverage in the past few hours, I immediately removed anything relating to the game or series rather than the character and Rayman as a mascot of French football from the draft. What else should I remove or add to the draft. NatwonTSG2 (talk) 19:40, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @NatwonTSG2 after several declines the draft is now rejected, meaning it will no longer be considered. I suggest creating a section at Rayman about the character. S0091 (talk) 19:52, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Why? creating a section for a single character in a series article with other characters is kinda weird so are you sure. NatwonTSG2 (talk) 19:58, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@NatwonTSG2 You are welcome to start a discussion at Talk:Rayman to gain consensus for a stand-alone article and ping the editor who rejected the draft so they can join the discussion. I also suggest placing a notice at WikiProject Video games to solicit others to join. S0091 (talk) 20:40, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

20:34, 4 July 2023 review of submission by Akileee1

edit

Hello my Draft:Filip Radojevic just got rejected for lack of quality citations. Problem is there is no much adequate information about water polo players. Can you give me an example of citations I can add. For more famous players it is much easier Akileee1 (talk) 20:34, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Akileee1 the draft is almost entirely unsourced. From what published reliable source did you get the information for his Early years? That is what is needed. See also the the notability guidelines for sports. S0091 (talk) 20:47, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@S0091I've just added all the reliable sources including media coverage and FINA, hope it meets the criteria now! Akileee1 (talk) 09:27, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
also i need help to remove {{{3}}} next to all the medals, i don't know what may be the problem there Akileee1 (talk) 11:05, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Akileee1 the citations need to be in-line. See this guide. When you are ready, click the blue Resubmit button. S0091 (talk) 14:24, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there,

Just flagging this; this person is a professional golfer who HAS won the British Amateur Championship (note that he is perhaps 1 out of 20 winner on that list to not have a wiki page yet); and has now become very notable in the golf world for hitting the rarest shot (last time this occured in a pro event was over 12 years ago). Many large news outlets covering and has tens of thousands of posts on social media.

Mlenarciak and KylieTastic, I have moved the draft to main space. He clearly meets the notability guideline for golfers as a winner of the British Amateur Championship. Cullen328 (talk) 21:32, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Cullen328 when I declined there was just one source for scoring a "hole-in-one on the 345-yard par-four 17th hole". Yes I did not notice that the article also said he had won that competition, but I was also unaware of notability guideline for golfers, but even so as a WP:BLP it needed more that one source. Mlenarciak did the correct thing and added the sources and resubmitted. It would almost certainly been accepted by the next reviewer. KylieTastic (talk) 10:25, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
