Hello friends!

Here is a sportsman from Russia, his name is Arman Tsarukyan, he is really famous and have good records on professional mma fighting. So i find out that he still not on wiki even when he have tons of articles written about him. Im trying to write all information that I could find and make my first article on wiki and boom-denied. Please, friends , help me solve the problem I don’t know what do i do wrong.

Lots of thanks and have best one

Vovagig Hi, pls read the comment on the draft page made by the reviewer. Secondly pls note the subject fails WP:MMABIO notability requirement. MMA fighters needs to secure at least 3 fights under top tier promoters (UFC / Invicta). Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 03:47, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I have drafted my first article on Wikipedia and have submitted it for review. I have noticed many other articles posted by other users at the same time as mine have been reviewed, but not mine. It has now been 7 weeks and I am wondering if I have done something wrong? I just want some feedback on my article and to have it potentially published in the mainspace! Have I done something wrong or is waiting this amount of time usual?Thank you.

Mike

Pages are not reviewed in any particlular order. We tend to get the easy declines and obvious accepts first though. AfC is an optional process. If you don't want our opinion you are free to move the page yourself. Anyway we are at 7 weeks max wait so I'll take a look at the page now Legacypac (talk) 02:50, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
User:Mikeyobey11 I just don't know. I've made comments on the page for you. Consider just moving it yourself. Legacypac (talk) 04:59, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Mikeyobey11 I have accepted your draft, although notability might be borderline. Theroadislong (talk) 18:52, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for the information and for taking a look at my article! It means a lot after I have been waiting for several weeks. My only question now is, after I make some edits, what is the next step to getting it published publicly?

Thanks! Mikeyobey11 (talk) 23:32, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It is accepted, which means it's "published publicly" here Bennett Smith (kayaker). Theroadislong (talk) 23:40, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I see now! Thank you so much for helping me with my first article contribution to Wikipedia. I will take the advice you gave into consideration as well and continue editing it to make it better.

I would like to give information on the missing page in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1951_Indian_general_election_in_Madras KANDASAMY, SHBI S. K. BABIE ex-MP and member of the Parliament in the first General Elections conducted in India after independence. Since there was no enough information, i wanted to Provide more details. Since this is my contribution to Wiki, wanted to see how this appears. Seemahe (talk) 06:48, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It appears to be a collection of jobs none of which look very important. It also looks nothing like a proper article. If this person was an MP he should have an article but it needs proper sources and structure. Legacypac (talk) 07:48, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

im requesting a rereveiw because theres no reaason u shoould have declined it, it followes all guidlines Aidanfre (talk) 14:46, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft follows none of our guidelines? It has no reliable sources so notability can't be established. Theroadislong (talk) 19:28, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Jovan Young

Hey, I've been trying to create a page for 'Jovan Young', especially because there are already articles on wikipedia mentioning me & boxing career, but there's not an actual page highlighted to click on like my fellow colleagues listed . So I thought I would create one mainly highlighting my boxing career as an undefeated title holder. I've gone through the changes from the first time my submission was declined, but I'd really like some help understanding why it keeps being declined? For example, in the boxing community, box rec is the official site for listing records of wins, losses, draws, knock outs etc. However your feedback said it wasn't a reliable source. The whole industry uses it as a reliable source, so why is it any different for this information?, regardless of having a statistics style display of info they're still officially recognised. This is my main need of assistance or help understanding. I've searched high and low for old articles and although I've had a few actual printed newspaper articles, I can't find the online versions for some things. So, What else do I need to do? I thought Sky Sports & The Guardian would suffice, but clearly they're not reliable sources either. Can someone please help, thank you, Kind regards, JY Jovanyoung (talk) 15:14, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Jovanyoung (talk) 15:14, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You are the wrong person to be writing thepage. See WP:AUTOBIO. The Guardian is a fine source. Remember no sources = no article 19:16, 20 February 2019 (UTC)Legacypac (talk)
OK, however, I created the account when I saw my name on wikipedia in the first place, but there was no page/article, so as it stated on the screen I created an account to be able to contribute. After reading the guidelines and frankly having no clue how to do this, I asked one of my old colleagues to create the page, I gave her the login info and since been meeting up with her to check the info, facts, old newspaper clippings etc and she researches them online via fight dates & stats etc. It's her typing now as I talk. So please help us understand what to do now? As the person mentioned on a few wikipedia articles already, regarding my boxing career, although those pages are publicly available, my submission has been denied, and now you're saying it's not the sources, but actually it's just not the right person. So what needs to happen now, should I ask her to create a separate account and start again? Is there something else we can do? Please advise, thank you Jovanyoung (talk) 03:11, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Jovanyoung Welcome to AfC help desk. See below and click on the blue highlighted text for more info.
  1. The subject (Jovan Young) need to pass the notability guidelines of Wikipedia - see WP:NBOX and WP:NACTOR
  2. Please read the grey panel and click on the blue highlighted text to understand what is needed and why the page is declined.
  3. You friend create this article for you for such you and your friend have a conflict of interest here. Wikipedia strongly discourage editor with COI to edit page and it should be declard - see WP:DISCLOSE and Wikipedia:Autobiography.
  4. Your account is only main for you and should not be join with someone else. Kindly stop doing that immediately.
  5. If the subject (you) are notable enough then there will be someone write about you.
  6. thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:28, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hey guys, again to clarify, the person helping me is a colleague, not a friend. Just someone I worked on a project with who had better skills than I did with all this stuff. I don't see the problem with that. Also regarding the last response, I followed the instructions and read the grey panel but nothing was stated that was useful to how to move forward. Also again no one is addressing the fact that I have already been mentioned in published articles on wikipedia more than once, I even tried to refer to them when first submitting thinking it would help, and clearly it didn't hence why my colleague continued to help. So again I ask, can someone please help? I'm still confused on what to do. You're saying I can't get help from someone more versed in computers and editing etc, yet there's been no definite answer as to why my article has been declined other than the fact it's been created under my own username. So as previously I asked, but was also ignored, should my colleague create a new one and start again? How else can I make the articles I'm already mentioned in relate to me, since I am the person and your own contributors are who mention me as a boxer (but just not highlighted as some others are in the scorelist) Is there anyone who can help in very simple terms for someone new to all this please, thanks Jovanyoung (talk) 02:29, 23 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Jovanyoung First of all, pls click on all the blue highlighted texts for further details for the info in the gray panel and in the message threads. Secondly, pls re-read again all the messages above and re-read time a few more times if needed. Thirdly, irregardless a friend or a college as long as someone is affiliated to you do have WP:COI here. Finally, pls read Wikipedia:The answer to life, the universe, and everything. Pls keep the message in the same message thread and dont create a new one. Just go to this message title and click edit button, scroll down and start typing. You could come back here and ask question only AFTER you have re-read the messages above and all the links info. Also remember no amount of editing will merit the article in the Wikipedia main space if the subject is NOT notable. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:53, 23 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

i want because i want this article on wikipedia. if you think you are genius than edit and publish it. If you reject means you are just robot because human helps human. Be human first edit and publish it. Qaciwaa (talk) 17:42, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not a robot, I'm only human, can you supply three or four independent reliable sources that cover Mukesh_Officials in depth and I'll try and help you, at the moment you have zero reliable sources so it can't be published, even by a genius! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Owen_Glendower_(Shakespeare_Character) (I'm sorry, I'm having a lot of trouble getting the template to work and to show the draft.)

I'm requesting advice, because I feel like I'm getting conflicting information. I added information about Owen Glendower to the Owain Glyndwr page. It was removed, because it was deemed too much for that page. I asked if it would be appropriate to create a page specifically for the character, and I received some advice that said it could go in a popular culture section or in a separate page identifying the individual discussed as a character.

I made such a page, and I was told that the information did not belong on a separate page, but in the Owain Glyndwr page. That would mean putting it right back where it was originally deleted from as being too much. The response also said that character pages are not made for Shakespeare characters who were also historical persons. However, there is a separate page for Volumnia and Veturia. I feel like I'm getting contradictory feedback or advice that conflicts with what else I'm seeing on Wikipedia. KelseyRidge (talk) 21:13, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, my article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Jay-5Flow) was declined publication and I am not sure how to solve the problem. Your suggestion was to "Add in line citations." Whilst I do appreciate your feedback, I would really appreciate some clarity as to 1) where exactly should these in line citations be inserted into my article? and 2) how should I best go about inserting same.

Also, can please let me know if there were any other reasons for my article being rejected and how to resolve these problems? As you can see, I am very new to the community and need help.

I learn by doing, and by making/correcting my mistakes. So any practical, detailed advice would also be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance. CHVNNS (talk) 22:09, 20 February 2019 (UTC)User_talk:CHVNNSUser:CHVNNSCHVNNS (talk) 22:09, 20 February 2019 (UTC) *(I hope I signed this correctly)[reply]
