this is taking too long...

@2600:1700:93B0:1350:6537:AF64:9361:EE22: We are all volunteers and there is a massive queue of drafts. I did however review it, since there haven't been substantial changes since the last review. The article needs sources, as was stated multiple times already. Please don't resubmit until you can show multiple independent reliable in-depth sources that satisfy WP:GNG. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 08:57, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Hellknowz, Thank you for your feedback on my draft HelioHost. Do you have any tips on how to make this article not sound like an advertisement? I put in some positive and negative attributes on this service in the article (ex. The servers keep crashing.) I strongly believe that this topic should be on Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia, Xincoletta (talk) 22:42, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Xincoletta: The promotional tone was the immediate concern. The best way to make an article not sound promotional is to only use reliable in-depth sources. This means no directory entries, brief mentions or "review" content farms, all of which generally just copy-paste features without real critical commentary. Good sources will also have content that will result in proper content for an article. I now looked through all the sources and none of them appear to reach the criteria. The closest source that arguably reaches the bar is [1]. Should the article be published and come to a deletion discussion, I imagine most editors would argue even this source is not good enough (who is the author, what are their credentials, is there editorial oversight, has this source been discussed or used by other sources, what are their content policies, what are their review criteria, how do they verify their information, etc.) I'm afraid these sources are not sufficient for an article. It's just that almost all hosting companies are unremarkable and no reputable sources have covered them in-depth. I'll leave this comment here so anyone else familiar with hosting-related web sources could chime in. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 08:51, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please tell me what could/should be improved at Draft:Zava. This is a properly declared COI contribution. It has a lot of foreign references (German, Austrian, French). Is this a problem for the article? Any other issues that you see?. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 15:04, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

How can it not be included in Wikipedia? I've seen it being pretty notable. And how does every other version of Wikipedia have it? None of those languages are the language of the BBIEAL game! I know, diverse, but why can't this game have it's own page here? On the other hand, about the ads, yeah i get that. Someone may need to rewrite it to match the manual of style. Here's a fact if so: it's based on Sonic's Schoolhouse, the horrific Sonic Xtreme math game from 1995.

@Everyonegoes2018: English Wikipedia has its own criteria for notability and what articles to include. The link explains it in much detail. This often is much stricter than other language Wikipedias. This is also most of the time different to what people call "notable", i.e. popular, known, etc. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 16:25, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Everyonegoes2018: - On top of Hellknowz's correct answer I would say on a notability side the draft does indeed fail, but isn't a million miles away. Wait until the game is properly released, where it will probably pick up a couple more suitable reviews. Nosebagbear (talk) 16:42, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Nosebagbear: - Ok, i guess that's fine.--Everyonegoes2018 (talk) 20:27, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
