Hello. I am a student. I have been given a project to create a wiki article. I have created one on Swiggy. Will you please take a look?Sahil N Shah (talk) 10:54, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • It is a good start but still not good enough. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 11:37, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

I have improve my draft, but i have only sources in Korean, and i do of my best for translate the different sources.

For the sources of the discography i have only in Korean.

It's good or I still need to improve the article ?

Thanks for your help

  • You can use Korean sources. You are using some unreliable sources, make sure to use reliable sources. The article stills needs to be improved. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 21:47, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The reason I was given for my article not being published was that "This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article". This is such a falsehood and shows a double standard. The artist is part of a musical production trio. Both other members of this trio have articles that are up, yet the the one didn't have an article (that I subsequently wrote) apparently doesn't have enough published, reliable sources? Look at the sources of my article and compare it with those of the other two members of the trio 'Royal-T' and 'DJ Q' You will see that my references come from the exact same tier of websites (Mostly music magazines and interviews), with many being the exact same sites, or potentially even the exact same references. My article is also much more in depth than the other two and provides a wider range of information. So, there is obviously an issue here. Either my article is fine or none of them can be and the other two aren't valid either. 00aa0 (talk) 21:44, 3 November 2018 (UTC) 00aa0 (talk) 21:44, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Even if merged into a single band article, I'm not sure the group is notable. Legacypac (talk) 22:34, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I mean, I'm obviously biased but I don't see how this person does not fit the notability criteria for musicians. Going down the criteria at WP:BAND they meet #1 (the article contains references to lengthy non-trivial articles from multiple reliable sources such as FACTmagazine and Pitchfork, both used on many high profile pages such as Kanye West, #5 (Multiple releases on Butterz, an 11 year old record label with its own page on which many big artists also with sizeable articles have released music), #6 (in Wikipedia's current state at the very least), #11 (They had a residency on BBC Radio 1, the second largest radio station in the UK https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09k8zm6 ). I'm not trying to be rude, but maybe it's just because this is an area on which you do not have much expertise in, but these people (especially the one I made an article for) are all very notable people. 00aa0 (talk) 23:08, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
User:00aa0 may I remind you that AfC is a volunteer project to help new users successfully create pages (and weed out bad drafts). Submitting pages here is completely voluntary. Legacypac (talk) 23:13, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
User:Legacypac I don't see how that's a repsonse or counterpoint to anything I've said. I'm just confused as to why two highly experienced editors have seen the draft of a page which clearly reaches Wikipedia's musician notability criteria and yet neither deem it worthy. 00aa0 (talk) 23:21, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You asked our opinion (sort of) and you got it. If you know all the answers you don't need us to approve your draft. Legacypac (talk) 23:25, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
