While the page on the History of HIV/AIDS does cover information related to the evolutionary origin of HIV/AIDS as well as its diversification, no other page on wikipedia includes any information even remotely related to the evolution of HIV in therapy. This page is crucial for readers interested in the evolution of HIV specifically in therapy and in understanding the mechanisms by which HIV evades therapeutics through evolution. Please consider this in the next review. Avanish24 (talk) 02:01, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm unsure I've submitted a Draft for review correctly. It shows as being in the 'Very old' page at the bottom of the draft itself (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Dying_to_Live_(2018_film)), but does not appear on the Pending Submissions page under this category (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:AfC_pending_submissions_by_age/Very_old)

Is there a step I'm missing to ensure it is pending review?

Many thanks,

Jkeast74 (talk) 03:28, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • I can't explain why it was hard to find, but I've approved the page for you. Good job. Legacypac (talk) 04:09, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In the past my pages created have been put up immediately. What did I do wrong here? thanks, Dennis

I reviewed your page very quickly after it was submitted for review (we are running 2 months on some submissions). See my decline reasons on the Draft. Legacypac (talk) 06:18, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Medical_Marijuana_Doctor Would you please mind to take a look again on the article. The reason I found for deletion is "Doctors are doctors and this is advocacy." As per the law, the Medical Marijuana Doctors are licensed cannabis doctors who can to share cannabis recommendation. This makes difference from general doctors and the cannabis doctors. (unsigned)

Indeed - per the draft "They are no different than any other conventional doctors, just that they are willing to provide marijuana recommendations. Make sure you refer to a specialist when looking to start with cannabis medicine for your medical condition." Which refutes your claim that "Medical Marijuana Doctors are licensed cannabis doctors" and confirms that this is advocacy. I have sent the draft to deletion discussion - best to discuss it there. Hello, This is an artist page which is vital for me to get published, since I'm starting my site and requesting for verification on instagram, and all of the info is directly from myself, and I assumed I would be facing problems with the "references" since I wrote it all myself and also if there is any loop holes in the page I would like to know Thank You! The VoV (talk) 08:40, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank-you very much for bringing your submission to my attention. You misunderstand the purpose of Wikipedia. It is not a free forum to create promotional pages about yourself, complete with social media self serving links and links to your music. If you get past the start of your career and become famous, some independent unrelated person will surely write a Wikipedia page about you based on WP:RS. I have requested your page be speedy deleted. If you persist in using Wikipedia as an advertising medium you will be blocked from editing anything here. hello, I've already edited and removed the press releases part. Please let me know what else to edit so that I may incorporate the necessary changes. Thank you so much! Looking forward to publishing the article soon.

You should have read the rejection message - very few startups are notable enough for a Wikipedia page. Legacypac (talk) 08:52, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I am helping the owner (Sinky Bambani) of Academie Planete Foot to have a presence on the web. I have started a facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Acad%C3%A9mie-Plan%C3%A8te-Foot-Togo-365815053962001/?modal=admin_todo_tour) for his Soccer academy. I also wants to make a slight change to the page but not sure how. The name should be "Académie Planète Foot" instead of "Académie Planète Football"

My name is (Redacted). Please contact me for any questions.

Thanks Desflags (talk) 13:41, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • First steps are to read WP:COI and follow the instructions. Then take note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and the articles here are not web profiles and are actually part of a large online reference work. The rules stipulate that there must be verifiable encyclopedic content in the article for it to be suitable for publication here. Read WP:YFA and get an idea of what is needed. Once you have done that reply here explaining that you have read those instructions and I can help you with the page and the page title if you still want to continue with the article. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 13:58, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Let me be more blunt. There is no way a soccer academy should be using Wikipedia to start a presence on the web. Google Adwords, a website of your own, and getting profiles/links on sites that list kid's recreation programs in your area is where I would start. Hi

I am trying to understand what I need to do to have my draft for Bruce Flatt accepted. The initial issues have been attended to (references fixed and promotional language removed)and I am unclear why it was rejected a second time.

There are reliable references from Financial Times, Forbes, Globe and Mail and New York Times that all talk specifically about Bruce Flatt.

I declared my conflict of interest on my user page as required as part of the article creation process. Why is it necessary to also add a notice at the top of the page? Thank you for your help Mrn helmers (talk) 14:30, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • The references were not fixed and the promotional language certainly not removed. I have approved the draft, but only because it is a subject I would have potentially written about myself and I don't mind rewriting it. You have a conflict of interest, don't edit the article, if you want content added or changed submit an edit request on the talk page. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 18:49, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
