Unfortunately I don't have the technical skill needed to fulfill your requirements. I have seen more than enough articles with warnings saying (approx.) "This article has issues", yet they got their article published. I listed what I thought were good sources so I don't think I can do any better without getting a friend to help me. If you would go to Wild Horse Monument on Google or any other search engine, you will see that it is worthy of a Wikipedia article. If I cannot get my article published, can somebody at Wikipedia create an article instead, using proper procedure? Thank you. Gigfisher (talk) 01:09, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Gigfisher. I'd be happy to see if I could create a brief article, provided the subject meets our inclusion criteria but I need to know exactly what you are referring to. Unfortunately, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Wild Horse Monument was deleted as an abandoned draft. Are you talking about this Wild Horse Monument? Voceditenore (talk) 06:09, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Gigfisher. Me again. I assumed you meant the monument I linked to above and have created the article. See Grandfather Cuts Loose the Ponies (its official name). Best wishes, Voceditenore (talk) 08:30, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why my page declined? Ghonokuashabaskey (talk) 05:01, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ghonokuashabaskey, your draft, User:Ghonokuashabaskey/Rakib Raihan Rafi contains only one word "musician". Voceditenore (talk) 05:04, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Declined for the substantive reasons placed on the draft. Fiddle Faddle 13:12, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Francine Beers (Actress) Article

The article that was submitted was reported for copyright infringement.

We are requesting a re-review of this page because the following is true:

We are the author of the original document cited as the source of the infringement. We are the owner of the website and an executor and trustee of the estate of the subject of the article. Thus, we have the right to release any copyright issues. The source document is released free with no rights reserved by us. It was created as a tribute to the memory of the subject and was not released with any reserved rights.

In addition, we would be happy to either take the page off of our website if that would satisfy the Wikipedia requirements or to make explicit notice on the page that there are no rights reserved. It is not released under any license because there are no rights reserved on the original text. Any and all reproductions of the content on the site do not need to be approved by us as we release all rights to the content on that page.

Also, we received notice on Friday afternoon after 7PM of the decision by the reviewer. We were given no time to respond to the initial determination before the page was summarily deleted. We feel that this was inappropriate as it did not provide a reasonable amount of time for response and clarification of the issue raised.

We made a best faith effort to comply with Wikipedia guidelines including adjusting the wording of the article to provide for an unbiased point of view and multiple citations from multiple sources in order to support the article's credits section. It interests me that you are complaining about our protection of your copyright. Had you not wished to allow WIkipedia to use this material please consider how angry you would have been had the material remained on the site. Please keep a sense of proportion. We acted as soon as we were able to protect your interests. In reality you ought to be thanking us for protecting your interests.
With regard to the material you wish to license for onward use there is no problem with your doing so, and the concept of licensing it correctly on your own web site to allow it;s onward use is an excellent idea. Before you leap into this please read WP:COPYRIGHTS in peace and quiet and determine with precision how you wish to proceed.
Please do understand that, by allowing Wikipedia (and therefore allowing others) to have a licence to use the material freely you are expecting it to be modified, to be used commercially, and much else besides. Also please understand that it is unusual for material on other websites to be suitable as it stands for WIkipedia. We require a very different tone from most web sites, and we require references to verify any significvant facts asserted in the article.
Please come back with pleasure and ask further questions after you have digested this. There is absolutely no rush. Copyright is a complex issue, and may require specialist attention from an editor experienced in the matter. Indeed, one may give you an answer here soon anyway. In addition please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials which I was struggling to find as I replied to you above. Fiddle Faddle 18:51, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I wrote and article in the Sandbox and submitted it to which I got a reply to the effect that there would be a wait of about three weeks - and continue editing if you wish by clicking on Edit, which I did. Now, my question is this: should I be re-submitting the article in the sandbox after a round of editing? Thanks Larry Boyd

There is no need to resubmit. Indeed I advise against it. Simply edit to your heart;s content, knowing that a reviewer will arrive in due course. Fiddle Faddle 18:53, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Declined with substantive reasons placed on the draft. I suspect this will take several iterations of submit - review - edit - resubmit Fiddle Faddle 19:10, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

CURIOUS, to why my page has not been accepted. Also what editing does it need in order to become An Accepted Article. this page is very necessary in order to establish a Electronic Press Kit for Our Recording Artist: Gangsta Leene. you may google search. please respond and help us to achieve our goals.

You said this page is very necessary in order to establish a Electronic Press Kit for Our Recording Artist: Gangsta Leene. Wikipedia is not for you to use to establish anything about your artist. It is to report on them when they are notable. With that in mind, perhaps you are in the wrong place and need a web host? Fiddle Faddle 19:57, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
