December 3

edit

It's been more than a week since my article's submission, and I am constantly meeting the new requirements as reviewers comment, however my article is still pending review. Pending what review? How long is it suppose to take for an article to be published? I've read all the requirements and necessities, and believe I've satisfied every one of them. A time frame would be good, because I am also under a tight deadline to get this thing taken care of. Thank you. There's currently a massive backlog of more than 1,300 unreviewed submissions, and I believe it takes about three weeks until a submission is reviewed. Please be patient.
At a glance the draft seems to rely heavily on primary sources such as BiMBA itself or Vlerick Business School on Vlerick's cooperation with BiMBA. Wikipedia content should be based on reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Surely BiMBA has received more detailed newspaper coverage than just the entries in various rankings? I believe Bloomberg has more to say on the subject that we could use, but more sources would be better still. Huon (talk) 02:21, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I wanted to know how i can publish this? and what needs to be corrected?

Thank you

The draft is awaiting review, but because we currently have a massive backlog of more than 1,300 unreviewed submissions, that may take some time. Please be patient.
I don't think the current sources suffice to establish Reidiculous' notability. That requires significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, such as newspaper articles about him or reviews in music magazines. Neither of our draft's current sources dedicates an entire sentence to Reidiculous, and I doubt they're reliable or independent. Erica America is a blog, I see no indication for editorial oversight at Ibiza.com, and both seem to be associated with the events they report on. Furthermore, the draft's content is largely unsupported by the sources, and it sounds unduly aggrandizing as well. Huon (talk) 02:21, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Make an article about it please. I don't know how Wiki works so I don't know who to tell

The place to request articles is WP:Requested articles and its subpages, here maybe Wikipedia:Requested articles/Social sciences/History#History of ideas or Wikipedia:Requested articles/Social sciences/Politics and government#Historical. Please add reliable sources on which an article could be based. But I saw the slogan is already mentioned in our liberté, égalité, fraternité article - is there much more to be said about it? Hi wiki friends again, can anyone pls tell me about the errors on my article? I have followed advice from different editors, and some of you have contributed as well, but the article is not accepted yet....

  • The problem is that your references don't have significant coverage of Lewis. You need to have several articles that talk specifically about him, and go into some depth. As your references currently stand:
  1. Kenneth Lewis at UK-charts.com - this just mentions his name and nothing more
  2. Marion and Marit at Dagbladet.no - this isn't primarily about him and mentions him in one passing sentence
  3. Kai Robøle and Kenneth Lewis at Dagbladet.no - as above
  4. Kenneth Lewis at Allmusic.com - this is merely a list of credits. You can use Allmusic reviews by notable reviewers, but this is not a review
  5. Kenneth Lewis at Imdb.com - There are inherent problems using IMDB as a source
  6. Kenneth Lewis at Discogs.com - This is merely a list of credits
  7. Kristin Frogner at Billboard.com - This isn't about Lewis
  8. Ida Maria at Spin.com - This isn't about Lewis
Hope that's of use. --Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 12:27, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Women's Voices in Sustainability

Hi,

I submitted this page about a week ago and just wanted to know when I could expect for it to be reviewed. Please let me know.

Thank you, SarahSarahchiara (talk) 17:00, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There's a massive backlog of more than 1,300 unreviewed submissions, and it may take about three weeks for a reviewer to look at yours. Please be patient.
However, at a glance many of your sources seem problematic: Blogs, primary sources, Amazon and even Wikipedia itself (that's circular). None of those are reliable, independent sources. Furthermore, I don't think many of those sources actually deal with the topic of women's voices in sustainability in general, and the draft reads more like an essay than like an encyclopedia article. It might become a list article, but it would probably require some clear-cut inclusion criteria (and some sources indicating that women speaking on sustainability are collectively notable as a group). Several of the articles linked to don't even mention sustainability. Huon (talk) 17:20, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am creating a new math article (content) titled Standard-Slope Ingegration and need to enter math formulas that I created using MS Word Equation Editor. How do I copy my formulas into my article (or reproduce them within my article) while working in my Sandbox?PeterJItalia (talk) 17:48, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
