Jennifer Lawrence (born 1990) is an American actress. After starring on The Bill Engvall Show (2007–2009) and making her film debut in 2008's Garden Party, she had her breakthrough with Winter's Bone in 2010. Lawrence's fame continued to grow when she played Mystique in X-Men: First Class (2011) and Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games films (2012–2015). She would go on to become the second-youngest recipient of the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in 2012's Silver Linings Playbook, win a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her role in American Hustle (2013), and receive Golden Globe Awards for both films as well as 2015's Joy. The earnings of her films have grossed up to $5.5 billion globally, and Lawrence is also the world's highest-paid actress since 2015. (Full article...)
