Overhanging walls in the Middle Ages

Good morning. Was medieval architecture advanced enough for "overhanging" walls similar to the structure we see in this picture, but taller and made of stone?--Leptictidium (mt) 07:05, 25 May 2019 (UTC)

It is possible, but not necessary. It was standard in that time to use pikes to form slant wall barricades. Pike walls continued all the way into the 1600s. 97.82.165.112 (talk) 18:28, 25 May 2019 (UTC)

evidence are they didn't at start, indeed, and stopped building because of that. However, IFAIK when they resumed construction, it was no longer a bug, but a feature Gem fr (talk) 11:48, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
