Bank Williams

Hank is from Nova Scotia Canada. Wiki makes it look like He’s from Brooklyn New York. Be Partisan please. -- 2001:569:531b:500:34fb:7041:f403:333c

We have no article Bank Williams. Then you mention "Hank". Hank Williams was born in Alabama. Cullen328 (talk) 03:56, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
We have four articles about people named Hank Williams. None of them say that the topic person was born in New York. You'll need to tell us what article you are referring to. CodeTalker (talk) 05:51, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This is the first time I've seen someone request that Wikipedia be more partisan. Shells-shells (talk) 07:13, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
A Google search turns up Hank Snow, "a Canadian-American country music artist. Most popular in the 1950s". It contains the following passage:
Hank Snow was the son of George Snow (1886-1966) and Maude Marie Hatt (1889-1953) in the small community of Brooklyn in Queens County, Nova Scotia, Canada, on May 9, 1914.
This may be the Hank in question. If so, "Brooklyn" is correctly wikilinked to Brooklyn, Queens County, Nova Scotia. Alansplodge (talk) 11:00, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Smart TV - Youtube, BBC iplayer and Disney+

edit

Is it ok to use youtube, bbc iplayer and disney+ on smart tv? But not serach the internet on it? 86.130.4.135 (talk) 21:27, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sure why not? Note the TV will need internet access for all the other things regardless of what else you do or don't do with the internet access on the TV. Nil Einne (talk) 22:26, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And you will need to have a (free) BBC ID Account to sign in to BBC iPlayer. You are not supposed to use iPlayer unless you are covered by a TV Licence: although its possible to do so without one, it's also possible that the ID account could be used to check on this. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 90.201.73.43 (talk) 08:34, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
