Brian McKeever and .......? (picture from 2014 Winter Paralympics)

Hi! Who is the other person? And who is who? [1] // Zquid (talk) 16:15, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

McKeever is the back skier. The front skier is his guide, Graham Nishikawa. See Here where you can see Nishikawa wearing the same guide number 624, while McKeever has bib 62. That page has several pictures from the same day, and clearly identifies the two men. --Jayron32 16:30, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

BOOK TITLE REQUEST

edit

Can I ask for a book title here? I remember reading an except from it around the mid 1980s. In the excerpt, it was clear that some people had wings and could fly. One of the characters kept his or her money in a pocket sewn into his or skin. To get to it, the skin had to be cut open. That is all I remember. I have asked the library staff, but they can't think of anything like that and it was suggested that I ask on this reference desk. How do I get an answer? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.82.165.112 (talk) 18:42, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Here is a list of books about people who have wings. It may be a good start for your research. --Jayron32 18:51, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I think maybe the narrator of Nightwings, by Robert Silverberg, had such a pocket in his thigh. —Tamfang (talk) 02:35, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
