What's this TV show called? (2000 Trail?) edit

Today I heard a show on TV whereon the actors said: "What are the odds?" and "These so-called surface lights have nothing to do with . . ." I asked my housemate who was watching it what the show was called. He said something, and I asked him to repeat. He said something that sounded like "2000 Trail". I googled "2000 trail", "two thousand trail", "10,000 trail", and "ten thousand trail", but couldn't find any TV show under this name. So, what's the title of the show he was watching? You can't ask him again??? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 15:19, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
My housemate has a developmental disability, and his speech is hard to understand. If I asked him to repeat several more times I might still not get it, and he would probably grow frustrated with me. :( Khemehekis (talk) 22:06, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Can he write? Or could you record him saying it once? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 23:39, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well, his handwriting is loopy, but I finally got him to write it down legibly. Turns out it's 2012. (The line "These so-called surface lights have nothing to do with . . ." was actually "And these surface cracks have nothing to do with shifting fault lines.") What cable channel were you watching. If you know that you can go online and look up their program listings. MarnetteD|Talk 03:22, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
